The mission of the Legal Department is to give legal advice to the top management, to the business units and to other corporate services. The Legal Department policy is to develop expertise and experience in the legal fields concerned by the activities of the Group. The situations where such knowledge is best used are for instance:
- Expansion of the Group’s activities: acquisitions, joint ventures, investments
- Long term contracts
- Support in the negotiation of strategic projects
- Competition law
- Support to financial and tax management: financing of strategic projects, transfer of participations, capital increases,…
The Legal Department is formed by individuals coming from several European countries and Russia, and a quite close cooperation takes place with our Japanese colleagues from the Legal Department of AGC Group in Tokyo.
